Norton Neuroscience Institute Memory Center

The Norton Neuroscience Institute Memory Center is dedicated to the evaluation and care for patients with symptoms of memory loss, which can include trouble learning new things, concentrating or making decisions that affect their everyday life.

Collaborative and Comprehensive Patient Care

Almost 40% of adults will experience some form of memory loss after age 65. This is a normal part of aging. For most people, memory loss and forgetfulness will be mild enough that it won’t disrupt our day-to-day lives. Some people may develop dementia or other brain disorders that affect memory. The World Health Organization estimates that 5% to 8% of us will live with dementia at some point after age 60.

With the largest team of board-certified and fellowship-trained specialists in the Louisville and Southern Indiana region, our memory center works with patients and their loved ones to navigate memory loss, integrating research and education at every level.
