Your mental health and physical health are deeply connected. That’s why Norton Behavioral Medicine offers outpatient mental health care that is coordinated with the ongoing care you receive from your Norton Healthcare primary care doctor or specialist.

Working with you and your primary care provider, Norton Behavioral Medicine therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists and licensed clinical social workers become part of your care team. You’ll get coordinated care for common mental health concerns, designed to support you without long-term commitments to therapy.

Our team is able to provide treatment for conditions including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorder and eating disorders to help improve your concentration, reduce absenteeism from work and get back to enjoying life more.

  • Convenient and secure telehealth visits offer privacy and convenience for patients in Kentucky and Indiana. In-person visits are also available at select Norton Healthcare locations.
  • We offer rapid access to a team of providers.
  • We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most commercial insurance plans.
  • Psychiatric medical doctors evaluate and, if necessary, adjust your prescriptions and dosages; they offer substance abuse disorder services, as well as offer alternatives.
  • Communicate with your provider, get prescription refills and make appointments through your free Norton MyChart account.
  • Our goal is to provide you education, support services and mental health services as needed and connect with your primary care provider to create a care plan for future needs.
  • When longer-term treatment or additional therapy is needed, Norton Behavioral Medicine will connect you to a long-term behavioral health provider in the community.
