Institute for Health Equity, a Part of Norton Healthcare, was established in 2020 to foster an enriching, supportive and inclusive environment where all patients are able to thrive and have equal opportunities to access health care.
Norton Healthcare’s community medical directors are rooted within the institute to provide direct education in communities and neighborhoods with the largest needs. Our community medical directors and licensed clinical social worker are available to speak to your organization.

Focus: Men’s health, family medicine, alternative therapies and racial disparities
Child and adolescent psychologist
Focus: Child and family mental health, LGBTQ+ mental health, prevention and early intervention; racial and economic disparities; youth violence prevention
The institute also has a licensed clinical social worker to support its mission in the community.
