Memory Care Support Offers Patients and Families Help and Resources

You are not alone. We offer support when you need it the most.

The Norton Neuroscience Institute Memory Center offers holistic care for patients with memory loss and other memory issues, including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. This means that in addition to clinical neurological care, we support caregivers and families to help provide the best quality of life possible for memory patients.

Research has shown that support groups and classes designed to help memory patients’ well-being can be an important addition to treatment that aims to slow disease progression. A caregiver support group can benefit those whose family members struggle with memory issues. Through Norton Neuroscience Institute Resource Centers, the Memory Center provides patients and their families with support groups, educational opportunities and additional resources at no additional cost.

Memory Caregivers Classes and Support Groups

Caring for an individual with a memory issue can be a challenge. The Memory Center provides families and caregivers of memory loss patients with educational classes, workshops and support groups. In addition to receiving information about the latest developments in memory care, participants are given the opportunity to discuss common concerns and obstacles related to caring for those with memory loss. A caregiver support group can offer participants emotional support and access to information on various memory care topics. Patient support groups provide support for living with memory loss.
